Spirit Classic Stencil Paper ( Thermal & Freehand )

Spirit Classic stencil paper is the industry standard for tattoo stencils, made in the USA and sold in boxes of 100 sheets. Professional tattoo artists rely on it for clean, sharp stencils, whether the design goes through a thermal copier or is traced by hand with a pencil.

What you get

• Thermal 8.5x11 (Classic Thermal): box of 100 sheets, 8.5 x 11 in, for thermal copiers only.
• Thermal 8.5x14 (Classic Thermal Long): box of 100 sheets, 8.5 x 14 in, the longer format for designs that need more length, for thermal copiers only.
• Freehand 8.5x11 (Classic Freehand): box of 100 sheets, 8.5 x 11 in, no heat needed; you trace the design and pencil pressure makes the transfer.

The thermal sheets combine a bright purple dye, a ripstop sheet and a coating that keeps the dye off your hands and clothes, for stencils that hold up for the whole session. A carrier sheet is recommended when you run them through the copier. The Freehand version holds its purple dye in a smooth, pressure-sensitive wax that captures fine detail, and its ripstop sheet stands up to heavy tracing. Many artists keep a box of Freehand as a backup for when the thermal copier goes down, or for conventions where the copier lineup gets long. Apply either type with your usual stencil transfer solution.
